FOREIGN CITIZENS/ROMANIANS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD
Admission is organized for full-time education, by fields of study:
Theater and Performing Arts, respectively Cinematography and Media, in accredited study programs. Foreign citizens can register for the admission competition/aptitude test after graduating from the preparatory year of Romanian language, organized according to the regulations in force.
The following categories of persons are exempt from the obligation to present the certificate of graduation from the preparatory year:
- who present Romanian study documents (diplomas and certificates) or study documents, situations
school certificates certifying at least 4 years of consecutive studies followed, in Romanian, in an educational unit from the national system in Romania; - who, in order to enroll in university education, present certificates or attestations of
language proficiency at minimum level B1, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
for foreign languages, issued by accredited higher education institutions in Romania that organize the preparatory year of Romanian language for foreign citizens, by the lecturers of Romanian language, literature, culture and civilization in universities abroad/the Romanian Language Institute or the Romanian Cultural Institute.
The admission of Romanians from all over the world is carried out based on methodologies specially developed by the Ministry of Education. In case the candidates to the competition hold dual citizenship, in order to participate in the admission, they will opt, upon registration and will submit the file with documents based on a single citizenship. This option cannot be changed during the admission competition.

- People who freely assume the Romanian cultural identity, people of Romanian origin and those belonging to the Romanian linguistic and cultural lineage who live outside the borders of Romania, regardless of the ethnonym used (Armanians, Armânji, Aromanians, Basarabians, Bucovinians, Cutovlachi, Daco-Romanians, Fârşeroti, Herţians, Istro-Romanians, Danubian Latins, Macedonian-Romanians, Macedonian-Romanians, Maramures, Megleniți, Megleno-Romanians, Moldavians, Moldovian, Rrămani, Romanians, Wallachians, Vlachs, Vlachs, Volohi, Macedo-Armanji), as well as all other lexical forms semantically related to the above,

AUDIOVISUAL COMMUNICATION (SCREENPLAY, MEDIA ADVERTISING, FILMOLOGY)
Full-time courses – 3 years (6 semesters, 180 credits, BACHELOR'S DEGREE) 2025/2026
Upon registration, candidates are required to submit a CV, a motivation letter and a portfolio. All these texts (CV, motivation letter and portfolio) must be written in Romanian, with diacritics, on A4 size pages. Texts that do not meet this condition will not be taken into account.
Complete portfolios are submitted after registration in electronic format. The candidate must ensure that all required elements are in the portfolio and can be accessed, otherwise he/she will not be admitted to the exam.
The institution will make available to the candidate, but only after registering on the Edubits platform, a folder on a secure platform where he can upload the requested documents, a folder to which only the institution and the candidate have access. Access to the platform will be communicated to the e-mail address used for registration.
- CVThe application will be submitted in electronic format. The electronic file will be in pdf format named as follows:
CV Last name First name, where the Last Name and First Name are those of the candidate. - portfolio is made up of the most successful original texts written by the candidate and may include short stories, diary excerpts, poems, short stories, scripts, plays, essays, critical texts, articles, literary, film or theater analyses or any other relevant texts in full or in fragments. If fragments of a larger text are presented, this must be specified immediately under the title. The portfolio must contain between a minimum of 5 pages and a maximum of 15 pages. Texts written in collaboration with another person or adaptations of texts written by other authors are not accepted. Scripts can be formatted according to the known standard. The other texts will be written on A4 pages with 12-point Times New Roman font, spaced 1,5 lines. The portfolio will have a cover page on which the candidate's first and last name will be written and a table of contents page with the titles of the texts in the portfolio and the page number on which they can be found. These two pages will not be counted towards the portfolio page count.

ABILITY TEST FOR FOREIGN CITIZENS
TO REGISTER, CANDIDATES MUST SUBMIT ONLINE PERSONAL PORTFOLIO IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT
The portfolio must contain:
- A picture of the candidate (portrait type CI, JPG format) named according to the model: LAST NAME_NAME.jpg (ex: ANDREESCU_FLORINA.jpg)
- CV EUROPASS with picture – https://europa.eu/europass
- 10-20 images (required: character design, set design, studies, sketches / optional: illustration, painting, sculpture, collage, photography). Images can be made in any technique (digital, traditional, mixed).
- The presentation format is JPG (maximum 1MB/image).
- The images will be named according to the model: FIRST NAME_SURNAME_title_## (example: FLORINA_ANDREESCU_crochiu_02.jpg)
- 1-2 films/film fragments/exercises/tests (total duration: maximum 5 min). Any type of animation is accepted (classic animation, stop motion, 3D CGI, visuals, TV graphics, etc.).
- MP4 or Animated GIF format. The materials will be viewed on a computer (PC/MAC).
- Films can be standalone or just a fragment. Showreel montages are not accepted.

SINGLE STAGE The tests are scored from 1 to 10.
Test 1 – Skills test (practice) Storyboard
- Creating a storyboard based on a text at first glance (the text proposed by the committee)
Test 2 – Interview (oral)
The committee will discuss each candidate based on:
- submitted portfolio of works
- practical work done in exam 1
In case of equal averages, the candidates will be tied by taking into account the grade obtained in test 1.
