The Master's program in Film Image Art is dedicated to those who wish to further the study and practice of the cinematic image.
Master's students study the importance and role of the image in the creation of cinematic works and, under the guidance of film and audiovisual professionals, make fiction films (short and feature-length), both in HD and on 35 mm film - an important step towards their professional careers.
Also, within the research and creation workshop, they are encouraged to identify various types of relationships between character, situation and image and to discover new symbolisms of the image in cinematography, things that they will later use in practice.

Complete portfolios/CVs are submitted after registration, only in electronic format. The candidate must ensure that all required elements are in the portfolio and can be accessed, otherwise he/she will not be admitted to the exam.
The University will make available to the candidate, but only after registering on the 2Edubits platform, a folder on a secure platform where he/she can upload the requested documents, a folder to which only the institution and the candidate have access. Access to the platform will be communicated to the email address used for registration.

REGISTRATION CONDITIONS
- Candidates must have graduated from a bachelor's degree program with a specialization in "Cinema, Photography, Media", from the faculties with the field of "Cinema and Media".
- Candidates must have completed either a 240-credit specialization or a 180-credit specialization.
- Candidates must have made, as Director of Photography, at least one short fiction film, shot natively on 35mm film, or digitally, in minimum Super-35/4K format, in standard copy, with edited, colorized and graded image, with mixed sound and full credits.
- Upon registration, candidates will submit a folder containing their artistic projects (digital copies of films in various standards or other relevant projects).

WRITTEN TEST
- Cinematographic culture test, based on the aesthetics of the means of plastic expression, specific to the language of the film image.
- Candidates will prepare a written paper on a topic indicated by the committee.

PRACTICAL AND ORAL TEST
- Presentation of a film in digital copy, filmed natively on 35mm film, or digitally, in a minimum Super-35/4K format, in standard copy, with edited, colorized and calibrated image, mixed sound, credits, which has the image made by the candidate (practically).
- Presentation of the means of plastic expression involved in the conception of the image of the film viewed in projection (oral)
