The Art of the Director

The two-year Master's degree program in Theatre Directing provides graduate directors with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge acquired during their Bachelor's degree. At the same time, it offers graduates from other fields, humanities or technical, the opportunity to acquire theatrical knowledge.

The aim is to enrich the means of expression and, implicitly, a more complex approach to the act of directorial creation. Therefore, the repertoire choices are wider, include more diverse theatrical chapters compared to those in the Bachelor's program and aim to develop a personal directorial language that the master's student can acquire. The completion of this Master is materialized with the creation of a show (produced by UNATC "IL Caragiale") and a dissertation, presented in front of a committee formed by the Department's professors, as well as theater theory professors.
