The Master of Animation Film study program is focused on directing for the auteur animated film. We emphasize the originality of the graphic concept, in parallel with the acquisition of the stages and aspects specific to animated film production. We pay special attention to exposing students to the cinematic context in which they will evolve as professionals upon completion of the diploma film. Thus, we organize at the end of the semester a presentation session of the diploma projects in which important producers from the film industry participate (UNATC Animation Pitch).
The dissertation work consists of a written theoretical paper and the production of a short film. Working in a team with colleagues from other departments, students will build a story with a strong visual and an emphasis on emotion, ready to travel to festivals in Romania and other countries, such as: Anim'Est, Sarajevo IFF, TIFF, Diploma.
