Pedagogical Module LEVEL I – postgraduate

Students and graduates of studies in the university's fields of study, namely Theatre and Performing Arts or Cinema and Media, can take courses complementary to the specialized ones in order to obtain certification for the teaching profession on two levels – Level I (bachelor's and postgraduate) and Level II (master's and postgraduate). If you want to become a teacher, in addition to the specialized knowledge acquired through the bachelor's and master's studies you have opted for, you will also need psychopedagogical, didactic and practical training. This specific training develops the necessary skills to transmit to others the theoretical and practical specialized knowledge you have acquired and is offered within the Pedagogical and Didactic Training Center of UNATC.

Level I (initial) corresponds to the bachelor's degree cycle, comprises 30 transferable credits (30 ECTS + 5 ECTS graduation exam) and ensures the right to occupy teaching positions in pre-university education: pre-school, preschool, primary, secondary, vocational and lower secondary. Level I is carried out both in a university regime, intended for students enrolled in bachelor's studies, and in a postgraduate regime, only with a fee, addressed to graduates with a bachelor's degree.

At the end of Postgraduate Level I, the student will be able to:

  • to know the psycho-socio-emotional particularities of preschoolers, young schoolchildren and preadolescents and to integrate them into the teaching-learning-evaluation process;
  • to design, develop and evaluate educational materials containing knowledge specific to the undergraduate field;
  • to coordinate and evaluate teaching activities using knowledge specific to the undergraduate field;
  • to acquire and implement effective communication and relationship strategies with students;
  • to become open to permanently updating knowledge and working methods in accordance with the targeted age group.
