During the three years of the Bachelor's degree, students of the Scenography Department learn the general notions specific to the field and are initiated into the creative process. They will acquire the skills necessary to realize and present their own artistic conception, in the form of a scenographic project. The disciplines are structured in such a way as to provide the theoretical, artistic and technical basis necessary for the creation of sets and costumes.
Starting from the first year and up to the third year, the courses Scenographic Art and the Creative Workshop ensure the assimilation of the scenographic creation process, develop the capacity for critical analysis and analytical skills. The plastic workshop is important because within it students are guided and advised through frequent corrections towards developing the skills of drawing sketches, sketches, compositions, a way to "maintain" the working tool necessary for the creation of set and costume sketches. History of Universal and Romanian Theater, History of Scenography, Visual Arts, History of Styles in Set also complete their theoretical training.
At the end of the three years, students can choose either to defend their Bachelor's thesis based on a scenographic project developed on a broad theme, which involves the realization of all artistic, technical and scenographic elements, changes of scenery with a unitary concept, or to design a work in which to demonstrate the artistic approach they have taken in creating a graduation show, carried out in a work team with colleagues from other departments.

The candidate will present a portfolio of works both in physical format and on STIK digital support and will hold a free discussion on it (15 minutes/candidate).
The portfolio contains a maximum of 30 sketches of atmosphere and costumes, studies, organized in 50/70 format. The contents of the portfolio will also be presented in digital format on the day of the exam (STIK)

PRACTICAL TEST
- ATMOSPHERE SKETCH – on a given theme, starting from a piece from the competition repertoire.
A 50/70 format sketch is made, in a technique of your choice. 2 50/70 format sheets will be provided – one is marked, the other will be used as a working draft.
The free vision of space, the scenographic idea, the issues related to composition, free perspective, color, shadow and light are pursued. - COSTUME SKETCHES – of characters from a play from the competition repertoire. 3 sketches of costumes from the competition repertoire are proposed using a technique of your choice. 1 sheet of 50/70 format will be provided – The aim is: characterizing the characters through the expressive means of the theater costume, creativity, proportions, pagination.
