The Master's Degree in Dramatic Writing aims to train professionals in the field of research into dramatic structures and creative practices of contemporary theater texts.
The Master's degree offers courses and practical modules, both within the specific creative study and in collaboration with the directing master's students. The courses have a theoretical component, which lays the foundations for understanding the dramatic text in the diversity of its writing formulas, but also a practical one, which aims to approach different dramaturgical structures. At the same time, the Master's degree emphasizes the involvement of the playwright in all phases of construction of the show or alternative artistic project - thus, the dramatic text develops as the show is developed. Therefore, the aim is to articulate multidisciplinary teams in which the Master's students in Dramatic Writing can exercise their quality as a show playwright or documentary filmmaker.
The study period concludes with a theoretical and practical dissertation, based on a creative and research topic agreed upon and pursued by the coordinating professor.
