Admission of foreign citizens to the Faculty of Theatre

FOREIGN CITIZENS/ROMANIANS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD

Admission is organized for full-time education, by fields of study:
Theater and Performing Arts, respectively Cinematography and Media, in accredited study programs. Foreign citizens can register for the admission competition/aptitude test after graduating from the preparatory year of Romanian language, organized according to the regulations in force.

The following categories of persons are exempt from the obligation to present the certificate of graduation from the preparatory year:

  • who present Romanian study documents (diplomas and certificates) or study documents, situations
    school certificates certifying at least 4 years of consecutive studies followed, in Romanian, in an educational unit from the national system in Romania;

  • who, in order to enroll in university education, present certificates or attestations of
    language proficiency at minimum level B1, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
    for foreign languages, issued by accredited higher education institutions in Romania that organize the preparatory year of Romanian language for foreign citizens, by the lecturers of Romanian language, literature, culture and civilization in universities abroad/the Romanian Language Institute or the Romanian Cultural Institute.

The admission of Romanians from all over the world is carried out based on methodologies specially developed by the Ministry of Education. In case the candidates to the competition hold dual citizenship, in order to participate in the admission, they will opt, upon registration and will submit the file with documents based on a single citizenship. This option cannot be changed during the admission competition.
