The Bachelor's degree program in Cinematography, Photography, Media - Film and TV Directing provides students with the necessary education to deepen their understanding of the elements of cinematographic grammar and semantics, combining both theoretical and practical concepts. Graduates of this program master directorial techniques used in fiction films, documentaries, and television productions.
During the three years of study, the aim is to deepen and consolidate cinematographic culture, form the author's vision and, above all, develop creativity.
An extremely important aspect is the development of the director's relationship with the actors and the filmmaking team, as well as the acquisition of managerial skills, in order to be able to coordinate the production team.
The program prepares its students for the following occupations: artistic director, artistic consultant, assistant artistic director.

(in the case of studies carried out outside Romania)*

Written recommendation from a legally established Roma organization (civic, public, political), attesting to the candidate's membership in the Roma ethnic group and not the fact that he/she is part of the respective organization (for Roma candidates running for distinct positions, approved by the Ministry)*

- Analysis of a film sequence from the mandatory filmography.
At the end of stage I (after both tests), the candidate receives a pass/fail grade. Candidates are examined by the same committee in both tests.

PRACTICAL test
The tests are scored from 1 to 10.
Carrying out a visual exercise (3-8 frames) on the film set based on a short text given by the committee.*
- The shots will be filmed and viewed in the order of the narrative. Multiple takes may be made, but only one will be chosen for viewing.
- Exercise duration: maximum 5 minutes.
- Working time: 3 hours.
Based on the exercises, a discussion with the committee will take place.
* Candidates will have access to filming equipment, a cameraman, and the opportunity to choose from several acting students to play the roles proposed in the text.
