Stand-UP Comedy

The Master's degree aims to provide skills and working techniques specific to the professional requirements of Stand-Up Comedy. The program will focus on developing the components of creative writing, necessary in the process of creating content, on interpretive ones, taking into account the particularity of the convention in which the audience becomes the actor's partner, but also on researching the mechanisms and themes representative of the comic genre.

In the case of email addresses (YAHOO), there may be compatibility issues between the email address and the admission form registration site.

Complete portfolios/CVs are submitted after registration, only in electronic format. The candidate must ensure that all required elements are in the portfolio and can be accessed, otherwise he/she will not be admitted to the exam.

The University will make available to the candidate, but only after registering on the 2Edubits platform, a folder on a secure platform where he/she can upload the requested documents, a folder to which only the institution and the candidate have access. Access to the platform will be communicated to the email address used for registration.

Upon registration, candidates will submit

  • CV (Europass format) of the candidate containing information about studies and professional activity
  • 3 texts conceived by the candidate – written (texts must not exceed 150 words) – written on a computer in Word format.
  • Motivational letter – written (A theoretical argument on the directions of study and research in the candidate's field of interest (2 – 4 pages) – written on a computer in word format.

The candidate will draw a ticket with a theme proposed by the committee and will propose a text that will form the basis of a comedy moment (2-3 minutes). After drawing the ticket, the candidate will have 5-7 minutes of thinking time.

CLAIMS:

  1. We do not accept appeals to oral/practical tests.
  2. The tests are scored on a scale of 1 to 10.
  3. The minimum admission average for places financed from the budget and for those with a fee cannot be less than 6,00 (six)

DIVISION CRITERIA IN CASE OF EQUAL AVERAGES:

  • Criterion 1. Average of the final exam – bachelor's degree.
  • Criterion 2. Overall average of years of study in the undergraduate university cycle.
